Who We AreThe R. Karalakulasingam Family Foundation is a small family foundation based in Louisville, KY, founded in 2017 by the late Dr. Rajah Karalakulasingam. While Dr. Karalakulasingam was very passionate about his daily work and loved practicing Nephrology, he was equally if not more passionate about his service outside of medicine through multiple organizations, which drove him to establish the foundation during retirement. After his passing in 2021, his children and friends continue to run the foundation today.
Our Mission: To Support Programs that Promote the Health and Education of Underserved Populations and Work to End the Injustice of Poverty.
